<><FONT color=#ffffff>!</FONT><BR>这座巨像建在罗德市港口的入口处。它是希腊太阳神赫利俄斯的青铜铸像，高约33 米。巨像铸造完工后过了56 年，毁于公元前226 年的一次地震中。<FONT color=#ffffff>{A)p</FONT><BR>建造时间：公元前282 年完工<FONT color=#ffffff>LPjM x</FONT><BR>建造地点：爱琴海，希腊罗德港<FONT color=#ffffff>3M&lt;*e~</FONT><BR>罗德岛巨像位于希腊罗德岛（islandofRhodes）通往地中海（MediterraneanSea）的港口。公元前的罗德岛是重要的商务中心,它位于爱琴海和地中海的交界处，罗德港于公元前408 年建成。历史上罗德岛曾经被许多势力范围统治过，其中包括摩索拉斯（他的陵墓也是七大奇迹之一）和亚历山大大帝。但在亚历山大大帝归天之后，全岛又陷入了长时间的战争。马其顿（Macedonia）侵略者德米特里带领四万军队（这已超过了整个岛上的人口）包围了港口。经过艰苦的战争，罗德岛人击败了侵略者。为了庆祝这次胜利，他们决定用敌人遗弃的青铜兵器修建一座雕像。雕像修筑了十二年，高约33 米，与纽约的自由神像的高度差不多。雕像是中空的，里面用复杂的石头和铁的支柱加固。但这个伟大的雕像建成仅仅50 年多后就被强烈地震毁坏了。传说中雕像两腿分开站在港口上船只是从腿中间过去，非常壮观而有趣。这座巨像其实是希腊人的太阳神及他们的守护神赫利俄斯（Helios），由建筑师Chares 设计，经过十二年的兴建，罗德岛巨像于公元前282 年完工，整座巨像共高33 米，以大理石建成，再以青铜包裹，以后更被用作灯塔。但公元前226 年的大地震却把这幢伟大巨像推倒，脆弱的膝盖成为了巨像的致命伤，巨像从此倒在Mandraki 港附近的岸边。公元654 年，罗德岛被阿拉伯人入侵，入侵者更把遗迹运往叙利亚，使这个奇观的考察更加困难。<FONT color=#ffffff>4W_</FONT><BR><FONT color=#ffffff></FONT></P>

<DIV align=justify>The bronze statue of the Greek God Helois, the worshipped sun God and patron saint of the Aegean island of Rhodes, was built with great architectonic and artistic skill, as reported by the chroniclers of the time. This Limited Edition pen is made of bronze, one of the materials used in the Colossus. The edition number is engraved on the filler knob. The number is limited to 408, the date of the founding of the town of Rhodes, 408 B. C. </DIV></TD></TR></TABLE></DIV></TD></TR>

<DIV align=justify>Pelikan has made great use of matte metal surfaces. This unusual M1000 size nib is unique to the Colossus. Except for the circular Pelikan Logo, the nib is sandblasted to a deep matte finish, similar to the bronze cap. The clip has the look of an archaic sand casting, with a Greek key design imprinted on the face. This pen is available with a fine, medium or broad nib.</DIV></TD></TR></TABLE></DIV></TD></TR>

要收齐pelikan的笔尖，我看难度比收齐LE更大。800的笔尖就有14K，18K和20K。老600有14K双金，18K单金和18K双金。老400有12K双金。再加不同粗细，老驴这辈子有事干了。
